MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:

    

    • Shoplifting — Marquez Moton, Year of Birth (YOB): 1995, 804 16th St.

    • Simple assault, domestic — Chris Horner, YOB: 1987, 635 Azalea Drive.

    • Malicious mischief — Derrick Moffite, YOB: 1983, 2704 25th Ave.

    • Simple assault, domestic — Quadarius Hall, YOB: 1991, 2809 St. Luke St.

    • Disorderly conduct — Kaporsha Stennis, YOB: 1991, 1620 11th Ave.

    • Simple assault, domestic — Emmanuel Wooten, YOB: 1994, 8341 Old Poplar Springs Drive.

    • Simple assault — Larry Brooks, YOB: 1978, 2419 35th Ave.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents Thursday:

Auto Burglary

    • At 3:57 p.m. Thursday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 5600 block of Highway 80 W. Entry was gained through a door.

Residential Burglary

    • At 4:43 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 400 block of 56th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.

    • At 11:28 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 4200 block of Terry Street. Entry was gained through a door.
