MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Simple assault — Danny A. Rackstraw, born 1977, 120 62nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Malicious mischief — Sadarious Nelson, born 1995, 4010 Paulding St., Meridian.

    • Escape — Ava Sheffield, born 1988, 3425 Hillside Rd., Meridian.

    • Possession of methamphetamine — Phillip A. Holt, 37, 2207 Pickard Campbell Rd., Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    Residential Burglary

    • 2:00 p.m., 1400 block of 36th Ave.

    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Jonathan L. Bolden, 20, 319 Rubush Ave., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Ronald G. Brassfield, 53, 1504 18th Ave., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Brandon S. Spencer, 28, 105 29th Ave., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Morris H. Williams III, 28, 815 Braxton Ave., Meridian.

    

Incident Reports

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Theft

    • 5600 block Pine Springs Rd., Meridian.

    • 10500 block Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.         

    • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 19 N.

    • Extrication of victim, Windsor Rd.        

    The volunteer fire departments reported no emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
