MERIDIAN —     The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Shoplifting — Martiez A. Rodgers, 23, 101 Madison St., York, AL.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 800 block of 42nd Avenue, unknown time.

    Commercial Burglary

    • 2600 block of South Frontage Rd.

    • 2600 block of South Frontage Road, nighttime.

    • 6300 block of D Street, nighttime.

    Auto Burglary

    • 4400 block of Highland Park Drive, unknown time.

        

       The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Petty larceny — Christen L. Fannin, 34, 539 Paul Anderson Rd., Meridian.

    • Failure to register as sex offender — Sammie L. Pulley, 46, 387 Hickory Pl., Meridian.

    • Vagrancy — Freddie D. Sheats, 50, 247 12th St., Ponchotoula, LA.

    • Simple assault — Barry J. Shelton Jr., 25, 5479 Russell Topton Rd., Toomsuba.

    • Simple assault — Barry J. Shelton Sr., 50, 5479 Russell Topton Rd., Toomsuba.

    • Possession of drugs in correctional facility — Lavert K. Smith, 25, 1206 27th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of schedule II, III, IV, V drugs — Shayla T. Woods, 26, 4328 19th St., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Theft

    • 200 block Crescent Lake Rd., Meridian.

    • 4400 block Hwy. 19 N., Meridian.

    • 9500 block Serton Rd., Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 12100 block Roy Dollar Rd., Meridian.

    • 6700 block Beechwood Ridge Rd., Meridian.

    • 300 block Jeffery Acres Rd., Meridian.

    • 3500 block North Shore Dr., Meridian.

    Assault

    • 2500 block Hwy. 496, Meridian.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • DUI — Billy R. Rash, 53, 110 Todd Rd., Collinsville.

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. 

    • EMS call, 23rd St.

    • Building fire, 41st Ave.               

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Traffic accident, Hwy. 39 N. (Lauderdale)

    • EMS, Poplar Springs Dr. (Bailey, Northeast)

    • EMS, Hwy. 493 (Sam Dale, Bailey)

    • Assist other agency, Skyland Dr. (South)

    • EMS, Blizzard Rd. (Bailey)

    • Traffic accident, Hwy. 45 bypass (Clarkdale)

   

    Metro Ambulance reported 36 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
