    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Disorderly conduct — Clifton J. Gowdy, 39, 2110 20th St., Meridian.

    • Aggravated assault — Derick A. Jackson, 26, 417 38th Ave., Meridian.

    • Giving false information — Marcus A. Johnson, 28, 2818 40th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Abimael I. Narvaez-Hernandez, 25, 1106 34th St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Eric Sims, 18, 510 53rd Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Johnny C. Young, 64, 3502 Valley Road, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported no incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Simple assault — Lateefa S. Armstrong, 20, 2711 11th St., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — William D. Axley, 42, 880 Sagamore Drive, Tunnel Hill, Ga.

    • Simple assault — Randy K. Boutin, 46, 544 Johnson Lane, Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Iman F. Gray, 19, 514 Old County Road, Marion.

    • Possession of drugs in a correctional facility — Mary R. McDougle 61, 3997 Singleton Road, Carthage.

    • Felony DUI — Jimmie Welch Sr., 50, 4460 Savoy Road, Enterprise.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Burglary

    • 6700 block Pine Springs Road, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 100 block Crescent Lake Road, Meridian.

    • 8200 block A. C. Brown Road, Bailey.

    • Highway 19 North, Meridian.

    • 7600 block Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Toomsuba.

    

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.    

    • Vehicle / pedestrian accident, 32nd Street

    • Vehicle accident, 28th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, I-20.

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 19 North

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 80 West
