MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    • DUI — Marie J. Bryant-Ivy, 33, 2310 33rd Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Willie F. Price, 53, 3404 56th Pl., Meridian.

    • DUI — Jimmy D. Rush, 19, 125 58th Ave., Meridian.



     The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    Residential Burglary

    • 2200 block of 39th Ave.

    • 1000 block of Highway 19 S.

    Auto Burglary                               

    • 3200 block of 10th Ave.

    Stolen Vehicle

    • 3800 block of P.S.D.

    • 2400 block of 36th St.



    Thursday Meridian Police Department officers arrested 61-year-old Fredrick Brassfield of Meridian and charged him with felony shoplifting. This is considered an upgraded charge as Brassfield has prior misdemeanor arrests for shoplifting. His bond was set at $5,000.   



Lauderdale County Sheriff's     Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Probation violation — Michael T. Cook, 20, 4809 Point Wanita Lake Rd., Chunky.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    DUI

    • Hwy. 19 S., Meridian.

    Theft

    2100 block Russell Mt. Gilead Rd., Meridian.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



Fire Runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.   



    • Vehicle / pedestrian accident, 5th St.

   

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    Metro Ambulance reported 30 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.
