MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Domestic violence — Cheri Forbes-Brown, 34, 705 Martin Luther King Dr., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — David L. Nelson, 28, 4516 28th St., Meridian.

    • Computer luring — Jatavieass L. Rackley, 18, 2305 D St., Meridian.

    • Interfering with an officer — Henrie G. Robinson, 27, 1736 Country Club Dr., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Ladreka S. Hunter, born 1985, Chapman Dr., Colorado Springs, CO.

    • Possession of marijuana — Latoya S. Williams, born 1979, Country Club Dr., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Lionel Jordan, born 1956, Terry St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 3400 block of 40th Ave.

    Auto Burglary                                

    • 2400 block of 44th Ave.

    Wednesday Meridian Police Department officers arrested 18-year-old Jatavieass L. Rackley of Meridian and charged him with computer luring of a person under the age of 18 for sex. This arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by detectives after learning of the event from the victim's parents. Bond was set at $25,000.    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Failure to pay child support — Mikel W. Denson, 51, 8043 Hwy. 19 N., Collinsville.

    • DUI — Zerrick Payne, 39, 3121 Old Hwy. 19 SE., Meridian.

    • DUI — Samuel J. Saxon, 23, 810 North 30th Ave., Hattiesburg.

    • Attempt to obtain controlled substance by fraud — Jessica M. Street, 27, 1541 Pine Forest Rd., Chunky.

    • Probation violation — Terrell L. Wilson, 26, 110 13th St., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Theft

    • 2100 block Russell Mt. Gilead Rd., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Old Hwy. 19 SE., Meridian.

    • Hwy. 19 S., Meridian.

    Vandalism

    • 5300 block Mini Farm Rd., Meridian.

    

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • DUI — Robert C. Moore, 53, Rt. 1 Box 233, DeKalb.
