MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Petty larceny — Brittany D. Brown, 23, 2811 St Luke St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Joseph K. Fairchild, 41, 11698 Old Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported no incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Possession of methamphetamine — Marvin R. Carter, 37, 800 16th St., Meridian.

    • Sale of cocaine — Erica L. Chambers, 33, 2818 CR 690, Shubuta.

    • DUI — Brian L. Clayton, 31, 10415 Rabbit Rd., Lauderdale.

    • Burglary — Thomas D. Dutton, 27, 4288 Pinecrest Rd., Lauderdale.

    • Felon in possession of firearm — Roy C. Johnson Jr., 47, 4648 Prisock Dr., Meridian.

    • Burglary — Corey J. Kell, 20, 100 Springhill Rd., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Tony O. Westbrook, 32, 603 Park Cir., Columbus.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Theft

    • 4800 block McCade Rd., Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 12100 Firetower Rd., Meridian.

    DUI

    • 8th St. / 26th Ave., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

    The following cases were handled in the circuit court of Lauderdale County the week of October 14 through 23.

    • Felony DUI — Lacorey Jimison, plea set for September 4, 2013.

    • Revocation for aggravated assault — Kimbrosha Brown, 10 yrs. MDOC.

    • Burglary — Douglas Floyd Taylor, 20 yrs. MDOC, 15 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Forgery — Michael Allen Smith, 10 yrs. MDOC, 9 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Accessory after the fact of aggravated assault — Cedric Rashawn Sheffield, 3 yrs. MDOC, one day to serve, 3 yrs. probation.

    • Sale of counterfiet substance — Relious D. Densmore, 5 yrs. MDOC consecutive to 25 yrs. to serve in different case.

    • Sale of hydrocodone — Michael Marcell Price, 40 yrs. MDOC, 28 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Aggravated domestic violence — Stephanie Avery, 10 yrs. MDOC, one day to serve, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Home repair fraud — Byron Watson, 5 yrs. MDOC, one day to serve, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Possession of weapon in jail — Kendrick Keys, 3 yrs. MDOC.

    • Possession of contraband in jail — Stevie Lynn Pace, 10 yrs. MDOC, 9 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Felony shoplifting — Betty Faye Clayton, 3 yrs. MDOC.

    • Felony shoplifting — Corey Chambers, 3 yrs. MDOC, 3 yrs. suspended, 3 yrs. probation.

    • Felon in possession of a firearm — Roy Johnson, one year MDOC.

    • Possession of contraband in jail — Eddie Roberson, 3 yrs. MDOC.

    • Possession of cocaine — Demarkeio Pritchett, 4 yrs. MDOC, one day to serve, 3 yrs. probation.

    • Assault on officer — Tradonious Leggett, 10 yrs. MDOC, 10 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Revocation for possession of cocaine — Annie Short, 3 yrs., 250 days MDOC.
