MERIDIAN — Commercial Burglary

•  5300 block of 5th Street, nighttime, attempted

     The Meridian Police Department is investigating a drive by shooting that was reported in the 2800 block of 19th Street at midnight Sunday night. Though several shots were fired, no one was injured. No further available.

    Meridian police are also investigating a drive by shooting reported in the 3700 block of 16th Street on Friday night at about 9:30 p.m. The homeowner was slightly injured by flying glass. No further is available.

    On Friday, Meridian Police arrested 36 year old Stacy R. Hughes and 19 year old Otis C. Williams, both of Meridian, and charged them with aggravated domestic violence. These charges stem from an altercation between the two early Friday morning at a local motel. Both subjects were treated as a local hospital before being released into police custody. Bond was set at $25,000 per charge.

    * Assist with tree, Will Garrett Road, Toomsuba FD

    • EMS, Barrett Road, Collinsville FD
