MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Misdemeanor escape — Coy L. Depriest, 21, 303 C St., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Cree D. Griffin, 22, 4317 5th St., Meridian.

    • Burglary — Landis Kelley, 27, 3053 Marion Rd., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 2900 block of Hwy. 45 N.

    • 2700 block of State Blvd.

    Commercial Burglary

    • 1200 block of 20th Ave.

    Tuesday, Meridian Police Department officers arrested 27-year-old Landis Kelley and charged him with identity theft and auto burglary. These charges stem from an auto burglary in April of this year and subsequent usage of a credit card stolen from the vehicle. Bond was set at $50,000 per charge.    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Joseph L. Blanks Jr., 56, 6219 Causeyville Clarke Rd., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Terrence D. Kennedy, 24, 1328 38th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Rotrell J. Monroe, 28, 8177 King Rd., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Darrell L. Naylor, 37, 4342 Lee Roy Naylor Rd., Lauderdale.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Burglary

    • 1500 block Long Creek Rd., Meridian.

    • 12200 block Hand Rd., Collinsville.

    • 3800 block KOA Campground Rd., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Barnhill Rd., Meridian.

   

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Robert C. Lowry, 24, 1136 Collin St., Miami, FL.

The Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • False alarm, Causeyville Rd.

    • Vehicle accident, 10th Ave.       

   

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 34 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
