MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Giving false information — James R. Cole, 45, 1703 28th Ave., Meridian.

    • Grand larceny — Angela Davis, 29, 4882 Valley Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Theron Donald, 39, 1326 34th Ave., Meridian.

    • Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle — Evelyn J. Ducksworth, 31, 4101 10th Street, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Javari N. Dunnigan, 22, 1213 Dogwood Lake Road, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct —Quartez R. Fox, 25, 5342 8th St., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Nicholas C. Johnson, 32, 2201 42nd St., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Terrence D. Kennedy, 24, 7547 Pine Springs Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Danny Moore, 51, 2209 10th Place, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Tyronsa D. Nash, 34, 603 30th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Claudine C. Perkins, 23, 8347 Poplar Spring Drive, Meridian.

    • Animal cruelty — Yehudi G. Sims, 25, 301 Sarah Stomper Road, Decatur.

    • Embezzlement — Sonya S. Spivey, 44, 6245 17th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 6100 block of Old 8th Street Road

    • Sowashee Courts

    • 2700 block of 40th Avenue

    • 6600 block of Old 8th Street Road

    • 2400 block of 25th Street

    Commercial Burglary

    • 3200 block of 45 N.

    • 200 block 16th Avenue

    Monday Meridian Police arrested 25-year-old Yehudi G. Sims of Decatur and charged him with residential burglary. This arrest stems from a reported burglary that occurred on April 16. Bond was set at $25,000.    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Possession of cocaine — Nancy Alexander, 40, 197 Springhill Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Andrew L. Burnside, 35, 12449 Sharpe Road, Collinsville.

    • DUI — Michael G. Ezell, 44, 383 Briarwood Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Jackie G. Fauls, 59, 115 Rachel Lane, Gibson, LA.

    • Failure to pay justice court — Courtney L. Green, 28, 107 71st Place, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Allison Heflin, 21, 321 Pecan Drive, Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Willie Hurde Jr., 40, 3756 Butts Road, Toomsuba.

    • Grand larceny — Paul Kelly, 40, 12162 Roy Dollar Road, Collinsville.

    • Domestic violence — Rodericus Latham, 24, 283 Betts Radcliff Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Daniel L. McShan, 1318 19th St., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Tommy Slaughter, 58, 2908 20th St., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Darren L. Tubbs, 40, 3501 25th St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Angela K. Vanderburg, 30, 3443 Jeffery Acres Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Eric B. Whitehead, 33, 5034 Jeffery Acres Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — James W. Yocum, 45, 4021 Red Pine Lane, Meridian.
