Law Enforcement Reports: 5-28-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Tuesday:

    • Contempt of court – Walter Eakes, 67, 8827 Whippoorwill Road Lot 14, Meridian. Eakes also faces a charge of failure to pay Justice Court.

    • Shoplifting – Theresa Fleming-Fairley, 46, 1010 North Frontage Road RM 217, Meridian. Fleming-Fairley also faces charges of contempt of court and having false ID information.   

    • Felon in possession of firearm – Christopher Grace, 24, 1501 45th Ave., Meridian. Grace also faces a charge of a probation violation.

    • Domestic violence – Kendaisia Heideberg, 20, 3817 31st Street, Meridian.

     • Possession of paraphernalia – Ron Lewis, 41, 3252 Emogene Street, Mobile, AL. Lewis also faces a charge of public drunkenness.      

    • Fleeing and eluding motor vehicle – Rodney McDonald, 24, 5130 Charlie Dunn Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia – Tyronsa Nash, 35, 816 30th Avenue, Meridian. Nash also faces charges of public drunkenness, public profanity, and simple assault.

    • Shoplifting – Gerri Norman, 24, 200 23rd Street, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Shauntanae M. Moss, 21, 8687 B Ramon Cod Road, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Quanika Garez, 25, 107 71st Place, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Antwan Griffin, 26, 107 71st Place, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Johnnika R. Alford, 22, 2714 State Blvd., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Jerry D. Brown, 39, 8506 Johnny Bailey Road, Meridian

    • Assault on a minor – Linda Dean, 51, 251 56th Avenue, Meridian.

    • Public Drunkenness – Arequette R. Kelley, 27, 1680 Carter Church Road, Meridian.     

    • Begging – Jimmy L. Davis, 41, 1501 6th Street, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Samantha Bourrage, 25, 7455 Lizel Road, Meridian.     

    • Shoplifting – Chasity Brown, 29, 8064 Wilsondale Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana – Tavares K. Johnson, 22, 5030 Shumate Road, Meridian.

        

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 9 a.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Tuesday:

Robbery

    • 5300 block of 8th Street Extension.

Residential Burglary

    • 4500 block of Highland Park Drive.

    • 200 block of East Old Country Club Road.

    • 100 block of 71st Place.

    • 4000 block of 26th Street.

Commercial Burglary

    • 7100 block of Highway 80 West.

Auto Burglary

    • 7100 block of Highway 80 West.

    • 100 block of 71st Place.

    • 1600 block of Bonita Lakes Circle.

Shootings

    • 2400 block of 24th Street.

    • Meridian police officers responded to 20 shots-fired calls; officers were unable to locate evidence to support the calls.
