MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Trespassing — Taquantis L. Bell, 20, 2032 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Shamekia Norwood, 22, 1711 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Erriona L. Phillips, 22, 2501 28th Ave., Meridian.

    • Trespassing — Kenyatta T. Walker, 18, 1426 30th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 2500 block of 34th Avenue

    • 2300 block of 27th Avenue

    Auto Burglary                                

    • 5100 block of 24th Place

    At 3:30 p.m. Monday, a man reported to police that he had been hit in the head and his money stolen in the 4200 block of 40th Avenue. The man refused medical treatment and the suspect is known to the victim.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

      

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Telephone harassment — Heather M. Chatham, 27, 3802 Jiggs Chatham Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Kevin Creer, 47, 1213 47th Ave., Meridian.

    • Credit card fraud — Amanda R. Crews, 28, 3488 Highway 11/80, Toomsuba.

    • DUI — Anthony B. Kolp III, 26, 303  C St., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Laderrick Q. Rencher, 37, 3590 Bisville Road, Scooba.

    • Failure to pay child support — Christopher B. Stringfellow, 35, 9891 Morgan Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Harold C. Thompson Jr., 57, 6777 Meadow Road, Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Burglary

    • 10400 Rabbit Road, Meridian.

    • 5100 block Causeyville Road, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 8500 block Highway 39 N., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Highway 19 N., Meridian.

    • 22nd Avenue, Meridian.

    

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Trash fire, 49th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, 8th Street    

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 39 N.

    • False alarm, Jimmie Rodgers Drive         

    

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
