    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.



    • Disorderly conduct — John L. Brown, Jr., 39, 1825 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Arthur B. Edwards, 23, 44813 Valley St., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Christopher L. Horner, 25, 3112 5th St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Michael Leday, 51, 199 George McDonald Drive, Shubuta.

    • Embezzlement — Ashton Moulds, 21, 4942 C. A. Pickard Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — James Pope, 25, 11780 Boe Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Jessie E. Temple, 59, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — John Vall, 50, 210 B St., Meridian.

    • Possession of cocaine — Terrance D. Westerfield, 28, 8153 Highway 16, DeKalb.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.



    Residential Burglary

    Stolen Vehicle

    • 100 block of 30th Place



    At 10 a.m. Friday an elderly man reported to police that he had been robbed at gunpoint in the 2200 block of 41st Street by two black males. The victim said the suspects approached him from behind and robbed him before running away on foot. The victim was uninjured.

    At about 10:30 p.m. Saturday a woman reported to police that she had been robbed in the parking lot of a business in the 2400 block of Highway 19 North by a lone black male. The suspect in the alleged strong armed robbery drove away in a vehicle but no description is available at this time. The victim was unharmed.

    Sunday, Meridian Police arrested 21-year-old Ashton Moulds of Meridian and charged her with Felony Embezzlement. Bond was set at $25,000.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.



    • DUI — David E. Astor Jr., 55, 6925 Bronson Road, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Elizabeth Biscardi, 45, 156 Crescent Lake Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — April L. Boles, 34, 8341 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Jeremiah R. Colwell, 18, 4010 37th St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Donald E. Feltman Jr., 35, 1963 Parkway Circle, Toomsuba.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — John H. Holcombe, 63, 12140 CR 32, Lisman, Ala.

    • Possession of marijuana — Benjamin P. Lampton, 19, 522 55th Ave., Meridian.
