MERIDIAN —     The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Shooting

    • Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Meridian.

    Assault

    • 10600 Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

    

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.   

    • Grass fire, 15th St.

    • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 39 N.

    • Vehicle accident, 30th Ave.

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.    

    • EMS, Brad Doener Lane (Martin)

    • Traffic accident, Hwy. 19 N. (Suqualena)

    • Traffic accident, Pine Springs Road (Bailey)

    • EMS, Valley Rd. (South)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 33 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday.
