Law Enforcement Reports: 4-23-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Public drunk — Christopher W. Johnson, 30, 80 Cliff Henderson Drive, Meridian.

    • Possession of cocaine — Raymond L. Johnson, 22, 706 North Broad St., York, Ala.

    • Shoplifting — Christina D. McCool, 35, 534 Center Ave., Philadelphia.

    • Shoplifting — Shawanna T. Green, 25, 1803 8th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Damion Gordon, 28, 1213 44th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Kimberly T. Watts, 34, 421 Willow Drive, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Sabrina Wallace, 39, 385 Greenhill Road, Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Jerico M. Clark, 38, 2406 State Blvd., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  

    Auto Burglary

    • At 9:39 a.m. Monday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 2200 block of 34th Avenue.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 6:12 p.m. Monday, police responded to a residential burglary in the 3100 block of W. Lake Drive.

    Shootings

     Officers responded to one shots fired call.  When officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate any evidence to the support the call.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Felon in possession of a firearm — Johnny W. Bourdeaux, 53, 9551 Northeast Cole Road, Lauderdale.

    • Resisting arrest — Myron E. Green, 49, Clinton, N.J.

    • Sale of cocaine — Karissa O. Hill-Lyons, 25, 1717 18th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of crystal methamphetamine — James Rigdon, 40, 7729 Hwy. 45 N., Meridian.

    • Obtaining controlled substance by fraud — Krystal D. Wolverton, 27, 3032 Conehatta Road, Conehatta.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Public drunk

    • 6500 block Hwy. 45 By-pass, Meridian.

    Missing person

    • 3600 block Linton Rd., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.   

    • Traffic accident, Hwy. 19 N.

    • Traffic accident, 6th St.

    • Medical assist, 64th Ave.

    • Traffic accident, Mosby Road

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.    

    • EMS, Will Garrett Road (Toomsuba)

Metro Ambulance

    Metro Ambulance reported 34 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
