        The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



        • 6700 block Newell Rd., Meridian.


        • 9700 block May Lake Dr., Meridian.


        Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.


        • DUI — David A. Covington, 27, 296 Harper Rd., Meridian.

        • DUI — Tyrel J. Lee, 33, 1505 Long Creek Rd., Meridian.


        The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.


        The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  


        • Person in distress, 14th St.

        • Vehicle accident, 65th Ave.

        • Building fire, 27th Pl.

        • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 19 N.

        • Electrical problem, 35th Ave.

        • Vehicle accident, MLK Dr.

        • Bomb scare, Hwy. 19 S.

        • Vehicle accident, I-20.

        • Electrical problem, 35th Ave.


        The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.    


        • Traffic accident, Minnow Bucket Rd. (Lauderdale)

        • EMS, Grissom Rd. (Martin)

        • Brush fire, Pinedale Rd. (Suqualena)

        • EMS, Arundel Rd. (South)

        • EMS, Blind Brown Rd. (Bailey)

        • Traffic accident, Old 8th Street Rd. (Suqualena)

        • Structure fire, Russell Manor Rd. (Russell, Marion, Toomsuba)


        Metro Ambulance reported 36 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
