MERIDIAN —     Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

    • DUI — David A. Covington, 27, 296 Harper Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Tyrel J. Lee, 33, 1505 Long Creek Road, Meridian.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Sunday.   

    Friday

    • Vehicle fire, Norths Hills St.

    • EMS rescue, 12th St.

    • Vehicle accident, South Frontage Road

    • Vehicle / pedestrian, Chandler St.

    • Vehicle fire, 65th Ave.

    Saturday

    • Cooking fire, Eastern Gardens Drive

    • Animal problem, Hwy. 39 N.

    Sunday

    • Grass fire, 50th Ave.

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.    

    • Structure fire, Wild Duck Dr. (Lauderdale, Toomsuba, Center Ridge)

    • EMS, Valley Road, (South)

    • EMS, Fred Haguewood Road, (Southeast)

    • Structure fire, Whippoorwill Road, (Lost Gap, Suqualena, Collinsville)

    • EMS, Lockheed (Marion)

    • Brush fire, I-20 (Russell)

    • Brush fire, Harper Road, (Toomsuba)

    • Vehicle fire, I-20 (Lost Gap)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday.
