Law Enforcement Reports: 4-10-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    • False ID information – Samuel E. Brewer, 47, 7100 Old Highway 80 West A8, Meridian. Brewer is also charged with contempt of court.

    • Simple assault – Kamara M. May, 23, 1518 45th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Ivory James, 24,    2015 Mosby Road, Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment – Shneka S. Hailes, 22, 523 56th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault, two counts – W. Alexander, 50, 4011 Causeyville Road

    • False information – Samuel E. Brewer, 48, 7100 Old Hwy 80 West

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI) – Marcus Brown, 25, 6429 Chicksaw St

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday and Wednesday:

Commercial Burglary

    • 300 block of 23rd Avenue South. 

Auto Burglary

    • 1200 block of 17th Street.

Residential Burglary

    • 2500 block 36th Street.

Shootings

    • Fired-shot call. Officers were unable to locate any evidence to the support the call.

    • 3500 block of 35th Avenue. Officers determined that the suspect shot at the house, but could not find any bullet holes in the residence. No one was injured in this incident and the case is still under investigation.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Probation violation/Parole – LeSandra Brag-Lewis, 40, 1614 16th Ave., Meridian.    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Raymond Donald Creel, 55, 1472 Long Creek Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of drugs within correctional facility – Jameshia Montrella Holder, 22, 3741 Highway 45 North, Meridian.

    • Prohibition, deadly weapon or contraband in jail – Sheron Michelle Jenkins, 39, 739 Waterview Drive, Meridian.

    • Domestic Violence-Simple Assault – William Justin McMullan, 32, 3604 Zero Road, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct/Failure to obey law enforcement officer – Brittany Dawn Reaves, 21, 4856 Highway 156, Butler, Ala.

    • Failure to register as a sex offender, non-compliant – Christopher Erik Shappell, 33, 9492 Lake St., Meridian.

    • False information – John Kenneth Stewart, 26, 8965 Westwood Drive, Meridian.

    • Petit larceny, up to $500 – Justin Lee Tran, 29, 12905 CR 514, Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Roger Ray Tucker, 34, 9402 Pleasant Ridge Road, Collinsville. Tucker is also charge with trespassing (willful) and telephone harassment.

    • Possession of paraphernalia – Ben Wolfe Jr., 38, 685 Wilson Road, Collins.
