MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday:

    • Domestic violence-Simple Assault – Johnathan Barron, 21, 525 56th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting, $500 or more – Jerry Wayne Griffin, 56, 4009 Fifth St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Mark David Wilson, 27, 3292 Ionia Road, Bellevue, Mich.

    • Shoplifting – Teashley Collins, Year of Birthday (YOB): 1991, 2015 Mosby Road, Meridian.

    • Petit larceny – Jacklyn D. Kirk, YOB: 1966, 4510 13th St., Meridian.

    • Trespassing – Andrea Dunnigan, YOB: 1992, 209 53rd Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Cedric Morton, YOB: 1981, 2201 44th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assaul-Domestic – Johnathan Barton, YOB: 1992, 525 56th Ave.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8:30 a.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday:

Auto Burglary

    • 2700 block of Willow Bend Drive, Meridian.

    • 1100 block of Deer Run, Meridian.

Residential Burglary

    • 1500 block of 44th Avenue, Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 8:30 a.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday:

    

    Theft

    • Highway 495, Meridian.

    Vandalism

    • 1400 block of Will Wright Road, Meridian

    Fire

    • Meridian

    Intoxicated driver

    • Highway 11/80 and Kewanee Road, Toomsuba

    • Seventh Street and 34th Avenue, Meridian

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs for Monday:  

     • False alarm                    49th Avenue

    • Outside rubbish fire            Valley Street

    • Potential accident            Eighteenth Avenue

    • Arcing, shorted electrical        38th Street

Lauderdale County Sherrif’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday:

    • Grand larceny, more than $500 – Mitchell Anthony, 24, 8613 Highway 495, Meridian.    • Malicious mischief-Vandalism – Hunter A. Mitchell, 22, 12285 Schamberville Lane, Collinsville.

    • DUI, first offense – Adrian James Mosley, 46, 1209 20th St., Meridian. Mosley also face charges for improper equipment, driving without liability insurance and driving with a suspended license.

Fire runs

    Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs on Nov. 30:

    • Brush fire                     Causeyville/Whynot Road (Southeast)

    • Brush fire                     Pine Springs Road (Bailey)

    • Brush fire                     Old Eight Street Road (Suqualena)

    • Emergency Medical            Morgan Road (Suqualena)

    Service (EMS)

Ambulance runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 52 emergency runs Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
