MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Carrying a concealed weapon — Billy Spivey, 17, 2515 Airport Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Lovelle M. Rodgers, 24, 145 Choctaw St., AL.

    • Simple assault — Marshaun Williams, 25, 1406 15th St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — 25, 407 Sweet Gum Bottom Rd., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Terrance D. Johnson, 32, 1611 5th St., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment — Mark Ernest, 46, 107 71st Pl., Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  

    Commercial Burglary

    • At 8:38 a.m. Monday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 100 block of South Frontage Road.  Officers arrived at 8:45 a.m. and determined that entry was made through a wall.

    Auto Burglary

    • At 6:45 a.m. Monday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 4800 block of 15th Street. Officers arrived at 6:53 a.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 4:26 p.m. Monday, police responded to a burglary in the 3100 block of 36th Street. Officer arrived at 4:38 p.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday

    • Sale of methamphetamine — Cassandra Hill, 42, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Jerry C. Hooks, 41, 383 Briarwood Rd., Meridian.

    • Giving false information — Willie G. Hopson Jr., 39, 3575 Lick Skillet Rd., Toomsuba.

    • Possession of cocaine — Tommy A. Lewis, 38, 1213 13th Ave., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment — Bridgette A. Madison-Neville, 24, 1711 46th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — April M. Nester, 26, 299 Springhill Rd., Meridian.

    • Sale of methamphetamine — Thomas R. Walters, 31, 419 Jeffery Acres Rd., Meridian.

    • Bad check — Kathryn S. Winfield, 33, 5985 Oak St., Meridian.

    • DUi — Nathan R. Winston, 20, 2427 4th Ave., Meridian.
