Law Enforcement Reports: 3-15-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Murder — Billy R. Barrett, 21, 1915 22nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Murder — Terikay K. Rackley, 23, 4215 Highland Park Drive, Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Thomas Peterson, 30, 312 44th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Jonathan K. Reed, 27, 3321 Davis St., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment — Sharenzo S. Kennedy, 22, 3805 43rd St., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Ralpheal D. Wilson, 28, 2524 26th St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.  

    Robbery

    • At 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to an armed robbery in the 2800 block of 8th Street. Officers arrived at 8:18 p.m. and determined that the victim was robbed at gunpoint by a black female that he knows. The victim was undecided about signing charges.

    • At 8:17 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to an armed robbery in the 1000 block of North Frontage Road. Officers arrived at 8:18 p.m. and determined that the victim money was taken by a black male and b/a black female. The black male was armed with a stick.

    Commercial Burglary

    • At 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 100 block of South frontage Road.

    • At 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 100 block of South Frontage Road.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 5:26 p.m. Thursday, a woman came to the police department to report that her house was broken into in the 4800 block of 30th Street.

    • At 5:35 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 400 block of 46th Avenue.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday

    • DUI — Dennis Miles, 4130 South St., Meridian.

    • Petty larceny — Brandy N. Moulds, 27, 10911 Kemper Martin Road, Collinsville.

    • Domestic violence — Jimmy R. Moulds Jr., 38, 10911 Kemper Martin Road, Collinsville.

    • DUI — Kerderial S. Rencher, 19, 83 Porterville Zion Church Road, Porterville.

    • Failure to pay justice court — Fred W. Wernecke Jr., 51, 56th Ave., Cooper Circle, Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Jimmy D. Williams, 50, 89 CR 678, Quitman.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.
