MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • DUI — Scott G. Hitt, 62, 4068 Old Homestead Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Tony L. Morton, 47, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Billy B. Reed, 42, 1812 26th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.  

    Residential Burglary

    • 300 block of 63rd Pl.

    • 3100 block of Parkway Blvd.

    • 1600 of 32nd St.

    Commercial Burglary

    • 2700 block of 6th St.

    • 3300 block of 8th St.

       

Lauderdale County Sheriff's     Department

     The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Simple assault — Richard L. Agent, 43, 11316 Brown Rd., Collinsville.

    • DUI — Marvell E. Buckley, 38, 901 North 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Angela M. Franklin, 30, 10277 McCraw Rd., Meridian.

    • Aggravated assault — Tryant K. Miller, 25, 2610, 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Demarco Thompson, 25, 381 Ledlow Rd., Newton.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    DUI

    • Front St. / 22nd Ave., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Court Records

    The following dispositions were handed down June 10-14 in the circuit court of Lauderdale County.

    • Armed robbery — Gregory Moore, 9 1/2 yrs. MDOC w/o parole.

    • Possession of marijuana — Nicole Gayle, 2 yrs. MDOC, 2 yrs. suspended, 2 yrs. probation.

    • Felon in possession of firearm — Derrick Petterson, 1 yrs. MDOC. Aggravated assault, 6 yrs. MDOC.

    • Aggravated assault — Henry Gibbs, 20 yrs. MDOC, 10 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Felony DUI — Derrick Warren, 3 yrs. MDOC.

    • Failure to register as sex offender — Tywon Cornelius Wraggs, 5 yrs. MDOC, 4 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.

    • Possession of cocaine and revocation for sale of cocaine — Rubin Fountain, 18 yrs. MDOC on revocation, 30 yrs. suspended and 5 yrs. probation.

    • Burglary — Sarah Wells, 25 yrs. MDOC, 22 yrs. suspended, 5 yrs. probation.
