MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Domestic violence — Derrick R. Walker, 34, 2305 Mountain View Drive, Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — George R. Teer Jr., born 1968, Ft. Stevens Road, Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Jacoby M. Eason, born 1991, Pacific St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 3600 block of 17th Place

    • 1500 block of 17th Ave.

    • 800 block of 70th Place

    • 1100 block of 45th Ave.

    • 2900 block of State Blvd.

    Auto Burglary                                

    • 800 block of 18th Avenue S.

    Monday Meridian Police Department officers charged 26-year-old Ashley E. Scott of Meridian with felony shoplifting. This arrest stems from an incident on Friday night from a store in Bonita Lakes Mall. Bond was set at $5,000.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Probation violation — Akeem O. Adams, 23, 3689 Broad St., Lisman, AL.

    • Probation violation — Vanessa M. Bailey, 33, 141 Tammy Gaines Ln., Huntsville, AL.

    • Trespassing — Gaylon Bradshaw, 40, 6231 Highway 39 N., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Ricky N. Herrington, 28, 8295 Kewannee Road, Lauderdale.

    • DUI — Steven L. Stewart, 29, 5567 Valley Road, Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Bridgette D. Walters, 28, 4882 Point Wanita Lake Road, Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Theft

    • 3500 block Hickory Little Rock Road, Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 9600 block Chip Pickering Drive, Meridian.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Building fire, 13th Ave.

    • Vehicle accident, 20th St.          

    

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Traffic accident, Highway 19 S. (Vimville, Causeyville, Southeast, Whynot)

    • Structure fire, Fox Ln. (Vimville, Causeyville, Whynot, Southeast, Long Creek)

    • Vehicle fire, Collinsville Road (Collinsville)

    • EMS, Long Creek Road (Vimville, Whynot)

    • Assist other agency, Highway 494 (Suqualena)

    • EMS, Lauderdale Toomsuba Road (Toomsuba)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 33 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
