MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:43 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday:

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), second offense – Kevin H. Boles, 45, 820 Bragg Ave., Meridian. Boles is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license and driving without liability insurance.

    • Shoplifting, less than $250 – Temera Tishea Terrell, 18, 506 Front St., E7, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct – Jillian L. Graham, YOB: 1982, 29th Avenue, Meridian. Graham is also charged with providing false information.

    • Possession of marijuana  – Michael Sanders, YOB: 1982, 11th Avenue, Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Billy R. Walker, YOB: 1964, 63rd Place, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday:

    Residential Burglary

    • 3300 block of Valley, nighttime

    • 2900 block of 45 north, nighttime

    • 3100 block of 25th Street, daytime

    • 1000 block of North Frontage Road, nighttime

    Auto Burglary                                

    • 800 block of 19 north, nighttime

    • Stolen Vehicle

     • 1700 block of 2nd Street south, daytime, 2013 Ford F250, white, CK3-095

    • 2300 block of 39 north, 2004 Ford F150, white, LC3-572

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8:43 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday:

    • Resisting arrest – Richard Michael Broadhead, 60, 10415 Rabbit Road 1, Lauderdale

    • Embezzlement — Shaduana Detta Horn, 33, 1426 46th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk – William Samuel Norris, 45, 5667 Highway 496, Toomsuba. Norris is also charged with public profanity and indecent exposure.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday:


    • 9500 block of Meyers Road, Lauderdale    

    • 5000 block of Reese Road A, Meridian



    • 8800 block of Highway 19 North, Collinsville

    • 1800 block of Sunshine Road, Daleville

    • 5800 block of Valley Road, Meridian


    • 10600 block of Highway 80 West, Meridian

    Stolen Vehicle

    • 5500 block of Harve Chatam Road, Meridian


    • 10400 block of Rabbit Road, Meridian

    Missing person

    • 4700 block of C.A. Pickard Road, Meridian

    Intoxicated subject

    • North Frontage Road, Meridian

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs on Wednesday:  

    • EMS call – 40th Avenue

    • False alarm – 35th Avenue

    • Vehicle/pedestrian accident – Highway 19 North

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire departments reported the following emergency runs on Tuesday and Wednesday:

    • EMS             Piggly Wiggly (Collinsville)

    • Assist            McGrew Road (Suqualena)

    • Structure fire        Highway 493 (Bailey/Northeast/Sam Dale)

    • EMS            Pamelta Drive (Toomsuba/Lauderdale)

    • EMS            Mayatt Road (Martin)

    • MVC            Shiloh-Vimville Road (Southeast)

    • EMS            Rabbit Road (Sam Dale)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 45 emergency runs Thursday at 2 p.m.
