MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Receiving stolen property — Cecil J. Spraggins, 71, 128 R 6781, Quitman.

    • Trespassing — Michael J. Ramsey, born 1985, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Trespassing — Dennis Odom, born 1963, homeless.

    • Trespassing — Byonika Lewis, born 1978, 2007 20th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Nikkie Milton-Hopson, born 1986, 25426 Hwy. 43, LA.    

    • Shoplifting — Susan M. Massey, born 1971, 3415 Hwy. 19 N., Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.  

    Stolen Vehicles

    • 6:00 p.m., 4300 block of Royal Rd..

    Residential Burglary

    • 4:34 p.m., 5500 block of 19th Ave.

    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • DUI — Murray A. Hord, 55, 640 Ashley Rd., Minden, LA.

    • Simple assault — Melissa F. Morrison, 43, 4658 Zero Rd., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Mary A. Robbins, 61, 1927 22nd Avenue Hgts., Meridian.

    • DUI — Stanley G. Sanders, 39, 2217 Hillcrest Dr., Meridian.

    

    Incident Reports

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    Stolen vehicle

    • 3500 block Lick Skillet Rd., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Hwy. 39 N., Meridian.

    Theft

    • 2500 block Old Hwy. 19 SE., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.         

    • Building fire, Hwy. 45 N.

    • Dumpster fire, MLK Dr.            

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Assist other agencies, Valley Rd. (South Lauderdale)

    • Assist other agencies, I-20 @ MM 165 (Toomsuba)

    

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 34 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.
