MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Shoplifting — Willie Whitehead, born 1959, 406 B Street.

    • Disturbing the peace — Glenda F. Roberts, born 1961, 1925 9th Ave.

    • Disturbing the peace —James Roberts, born 1966, 1925 9th Ave.

    • Shoplifting — Jena L. Sullivan, born 1968, 8325 Poplar Springs Drive, Lot 10.

    • Compulsory school attendance — Joreka Lewis, born 1980, 1818 16th Ave.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Larry Gordon, born 1989, 1276 Sandflat Loop

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.  

Robbery

    There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary

    No commercial burglaries.

Stolen Vehicles

    At 4:53 AM, on November 8, 2013, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 2300 block of Hwy 39 North. The vehicle was left running with the doors unlocked.

Auto Burglary

    At 5:00 PM, on November 7, 2013, Meridian Police responded an auto burglary in the 4500 block of Hwy 39 North. Entry was gained through a door.

Residential Burglary

    At 7:00 PM, on November 7, 2013, Meridian Police responded to the 2300 block of 30th Avenue to a residential burglary. Entry was gained through a door.
