MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Possession of marijuana — Zaus L. Carter, 24, 30 Laura St., Noxapater.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Joseph W. Hall, 57, 9823 C. Gibson Rd., Collinsville.

    • Petty larceny — Freddie E. Johnson Jr., 21, 226 MLK Dr., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Damyon T. Lyons, 20, 307 Ponds St., Louisville.

    • Attempt to commit an offense — Jacarrus A. Pickett, 30, 2101 44th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Tammy D. Reynolds, 41, 4970 J. W. Reynolds Rd., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Derrell Cox, born 1989, 3839 42nd St., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment — Shannon McClelland, age N/A, Charlie Dunn Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Jesse Smith, born 1973, 2514 43rd Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    Auto Burglary

    • 10:27 a.m., 2200 block of 9th Ave.

    Residential Burglary

    • 8:55 a.m., 3800 block of 32nd St.

    • 11:00 a.m., 1600 block of Maple St.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Probation violation — Frankie E. Collier, 48, 2205 8th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Johnny L. White Jr., 34, 429 Peach St., Oak Grove, LA.

    Note: Angela Nicole Walker, of Crescent Lake in Meridian, was not charged on October 22 for possession of precursors as it showed on the October 22 arrest reports.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Burglary

    • 1100 block Aycock Rd., Meridian.

    Shooting

    • 9500 block Hillview Dr., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Hwy. 19 N., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire runs

    

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    • Elec. wiring/equip., Hwy. 45 N.

    • EMS call, King Rd.

    • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 39 N.

    • Lock-out, 14th St.                  

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

    • Vehicle fire, I-20 (Meehan)

    • Structure fire, John C. Stennis Dr. (Northeast, Lauderdale, Toomsuba)

    • EMS, Wilsondale Rd. (Collinsville)

    • EMS, Hwy. 19 N. (Martin)

    • EMS, Pine Forest Rd. (Meehan)

Ambulance runs

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 41 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
