MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Burglary — Brian M. Pierce, 22, 5339 Hickory Little Rock Road, Decatur.

    • Simple assault — Jocobe Rush, born 1984.

    • Possession of marijuana — Jacoby Hudson, born 1994.

    • DUI — Joseph Fairchild, born 1972.

    • Simple assault — Tamera Cole, born 1982.

    • Possession of marijuana — Oeshun Bradford, born 1992.

    • Simple assault — Christopher D. Jones, born 1995.

    • Possession of marijuana — Luke Ball, born 1993.

    • Possession of marijuana — Terrence Stephens, born 1994.

    • Disorderly conduct — Mario Carter, born 1979. 

    Incident Reports

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

 

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Don Allen, 36, 5361 Gene Carr Road, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Jeremy D. Bady, 40, 3521 Highway 11/80, Toomsuba.

    • Possession of marijuana — William L. Brown-Russell Jr., 25, 4326 Terry Street, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Ricky D. Hersey, 31, 2432 Old Marion Road, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Walter Hopson, 47, 8165 Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Lauderdale.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Assault

    • 10600 block Highway 80 W., Meridian.

    Theft

    • 5400 block Vimville Causeyville Road, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

   

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday. 

    • Medical assist, 36th Avenue

    • Elec. wiring/equipment, 37th Street

    • False alarm, 43rd Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, Poplar Springs Drive

    • Medical assist, 27th Avenue

    • False alarm, 24th Street

    • Medical assist, 8th Street             

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

   

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 36 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday.
