MERIDIAN — The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Domestic violence — Willie L. Hearn, 27, 2212 19th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Ynekia Maggard, born 1982, 21st St., Meridian.

    • Giving false information — Sharenzo J. Kennedy, born 1992, 41st St., Meridian.

    • Petty larceny — Lora M. Wallace, born 1970, 19th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Residential Burglary

    • 3100 block of Valley St., nighttime.

    • 100 block of 36th Avenue, daytime.

    • 3400 block of State Blvd., daytime.

    Commercial Burglary

    • 700 block of 45th Avenue, nighttime.

        

       The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Raymond D. Jenkins, 37, 2156 Pigford Lake Rd., Meridian.

    • Petty larceny — Krysta B. Pierce, 1925 B St., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Jimmy L. Pratt, 58, 2724 41st St., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Wilbur R. Sims, 21, 2416 42nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Misty M. Smith, 35, 3753 Everett Rd., Newton.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Theft

    • 10500 block Cow Creek Rd., Meridian.

    • 8800 block Hwy. 19 N., Collinsville.

    DUI

    • West Lauderdale Rd., Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 3900 block Whynot Causeyville Rd., Meridian.

    • 10 block Lofton Yarrell Rd., Toomsuba.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. 

    • False alarm, 19th Ave.

    • Vehicle accident, Van Zyverden Rd.

    • Gas leak, Front Street Ext.

    • Vehicle accident, Hwy. 19 N.

    • Severe weather, 36th St.

    • Lock-out, Hwy. 19 N.               

    The volunteer fire departments reported no emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

   

    Metro Ambulance reported 30 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
