MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Public drunk — Carlton E. Byrd, 28, Rodeander Byrd Drive, Mt. Vernon, Ala.

    • Disorderly conduct — Grace McGlothin, 54, 5603 Cooper Circle, Meridian.

    • Petty larceny — Willie F. Price, 53, 3404 56th Place, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Burglary

    • 4100 block 40th Street

    Commercial Burglary

    • 1000 block 18th Street

    Late Tuesday afternoon, the Meridian Police Department's DART Team arrested 17-year-old Daquaris "Ray Ray" Brown of Meridian. Brown has now been charged with armed robbery in connection with the incident that occurred at the local motel last week where the victim was robbed after meeting a female suspect. Bond was set at $250,000.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Sale of marijuana — Timothy S. Adams, 40, 4400 Rubush Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Melton W. Boutwell, 42, 5429 Causeyville Road, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Jon D. Byrd, 22, 2690 CR 35, Mize.

    • Harboring a sex offender — Sabrina J. Clark, 39, 107 71st Place, Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Shannon Eastridge, 36, 4210 Highway 19 SE., Meridian.

    •  DUI — Trisha A. Mejia, 35, 25063 Highway 19 SE, Meridian.

    • Grand larceny — Geremy S. Wilkerson, 29, 3388 Highway 11/80, Toomsuba.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Krystal D. Wolverton, 26, 2689 Highway 19 S., Meridian.

    • Failure to register as sex offender — Tywan C. Wraggs, 35, 4801 Valley St., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    DUI

    • Highway 39 N. bypass, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 5400 block Gene Carr Road, Meridian.

    • Pine Springs Boat Ramp, Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 10200 block Tanglewood Drive, Meridian.

    • 5500 block Highway 19 N., Meridian

    

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.
