MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Burglary — William Culpepper, 33, 1004 22nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Bernice Ford, 55, 618 49th Ave., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Aaron Franklin, 53, 2325 South Frontage Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Regina A. Ivy, 46, 127 Frog Level Campground, Quitman.

    • Simple assault — Mardreekus Horn, born 1194, 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — LaMatris L. Watts, born 1974, CR 262, Shubuta.

    • Shoplifting — Olyn Davis, born 1991, Fish Line Road, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Burglary

    • 2200 block 10th Avenue

    • 300 block 33rd Avenue

    Auto burglary

    • 1500 block 61st Court

     Tuesday at 11 p.m., a man reported to police that he was robbed at gunpoint in Highland Park by two black men. The victim was unharmed in the incident and the suspects fled on foot. No descriptions are available. Detectives are following leads in the case and more will be released as it develops.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Simple assault — Jeffery M. Davis, 43, 3584 Highway 11/80, Toomsuba.

    • Public drunk — Angela R. Kirk, 32, 3589 Highway 11/80, Toomsuba.

    • DUI — Eddie T. Parker, 28, 538 Warren Hill, Brandon.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    DUI

    • Highway 19 South, Meridian

    Burglary

    • 8500 block Cottonwood Drive, Meridian.

    • 8400 block Cottonwood Drive, Meridian.

    • 8400 block Northeast Pines Drive, Meridian.

    

Mississippi    Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    • False alarm, 22nd Avenue

    • False alarm, 5th Street

    • False alarm, 22nd Avenue

    • Vehicle fire, 16th Avenue

    • Building fire, 24th Street

    • Vehicle accident, 13th Street

    

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 31 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
