MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Fleeing and eluding in motor vehicle — Natalie L. Cole, 27, 1906 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Gary O. Hawkins, 29, 1212 47th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Robert C. Haskin, 29, 41 Cord Road, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Gary O. Hawkins, 30, 3416 Paulding St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.  

    Auto Burglary

    At 9:54 a.m. Thursday, a victim came to the police department to report an auto burglary that occurred in the 700 block of Highway 19 S.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a burglary in the 2500 block of 31st Avenue.

    • At 5:33 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a burglary in the 6200 block of Oakland Park Street.

    • At 7:16 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a burglary in the 3100 block of 15th Avenue.

    • At 6:20 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 600 block of 49th Avenue.

    • At 9:28 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 1600 block of 36th Avenue.

    • At 12:12 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 1000 block of 24th Street.

    • At 5:56 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 2600 block of 24th Avenue.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday

    • Felon in possession of firearm — Christopher B. Cooks, 36, 6280 Oxford Road, Lauderdale.

    • DUI — Deborah A. Mendius, 63, 5824 Oak St., Meridian.

    • Underage consumption of alcohol — Milton E. Starky Jr., 18, 1903 9th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Eddie R. Terry, 49, 427 Hook Road, Porterville.

    • Possession of methamphetamine — Joshua D. Utley, 26, 2977 Rob Sims Road, Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    Assault

    • 2900 block Russell Camp Road, Meridian.

    DUI

    • State Blvd. Ext., Meridian.

    • Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Meridian.

    Fight

    • Hwy. 145, Meridian.
