    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Shoplifting — Dyan M. Jeffries, born 1958, 1814 11th Ave., Meridian.

    • Carrying a concealed weapon — Ridge L. Rogers, 22, 3822 Davis St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Demetrius Baskin, born 1985, 4401 40th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Jenita V. Smith, born 1981, 3512 2nd St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — April M. Thornhill, born 1990, 5925 Old Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Jessie L. Guinn, born 1966, 507 East Church St.,

    • Shoplifting — Michael D. Sims, born 1995, 918 Jeff Davis School Rd., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Denise Anthony, born 1982, 2409 40th Ave., Meridian.

    • Carrying a concealed weapon — Justin D. Rogers, 22, 506 Front Street Ext., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Anthony Bridges, 19, 4433 27th St., Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Billy L. Jones, 53, 2201 39th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  

    Residential Burglary

    • 3:15 p.m., Sunday, 1700 block of Hwy. 39 N.

    • 2:00 p.m., Sunday, 4000 block of 35th St.

    • 4:40 p.m., Sunday, 400 block of 57th Ave.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Burglary — Christopher M. Deen, 28, 5504 Cherokee Rd., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Michael A. Freeman, 35, 6292 Dunns Falls Rd., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay justice court — Larry Norris, 64, 1126 Aycock Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Morris H. Williams III, 28, 5115 12th Ave., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Theft

    • 4000 block Causeyville Rd., Meridian.

    Disturbance

    Vandalism

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
