MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Shoplifting – Corninka O. Kennedy, YOB: 1979, 226 Sixth St., Florida.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday to Wednesday:

Stolen Vehicles

    • 1900 block of 26th Street.

Residential Burglary

    • 1500 block of 44th Avenue.



Lauderdale County Sherriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Probation violation – Andra Demario Brown, 26, 1918 22nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunkenness – Jeffery Chapman, 53, 2704 Valley Road, Meridian.

        

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday:

    

    Burglary

    • 900 block of Lake Street, Meridian

    Intoxicated driver

    • Highway 39-19th Avenue, Meridian.

    Missing person

    • 5200 block of Zero Road, Meridian.

Fire runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs for Tuesday:  

    • Medical assistance            Mosby Road

    • False alarm                    45th Avenue

    • Building fire                    Sweet Gum Bottom Road

    • False alarm                    19th Court

    • Assist police                Martin Luther King Memorial Drive

Ambulance runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 46 emergency runs Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
