Law Enforcement Reports: 10-5-13

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Public drunk — Theron Donald, 40, 1326 34th Ave., Meridian.

    • Trespassing — Jareekus L. Harold, 22, 7100 Old Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

    • Trespassing — Angela Williams, 41, 1618 8th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — James Wilson, 18, 108 Klaire Cir., Natchitoches, LA.

    • Possession of marijuana — Cambron Warren, born 1987, 16th St., Meridian.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Marquis Clayton, born 1994, Baylor Rd., Meridian.

    • Malicious mischief — Dustin G. Williams, born 1983, 5th St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Deborah A. Cross, born 1969, 39th Pl., Meridian.

    • DUI — Joe A. Griffin, born 1959, 5th St., Meridian.

Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    Commercial Burglary

    Thursday at 7:15 a.m., police responded to a commercial burglary in the 1400 block of 11th Avenue. Entry was made through a door and a handgun was stolen.  

    Thursday at 8:41 a.m., police responded to a commercial burglary in the 900 block of Virginia Drive. Entry was made through a door and a TV stolen.     Thursday afternoon, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 5500 block of 5th Street. Entry was made through a window but nothing was stolen.

    Residential Burglary

     Wednesday at 12:58 a.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 2000 block of Lynch Avenue. Entry was through a door and a purse stolen.          

    Thursday at 10:10 a.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 500 block of 54th Avenue. Entry was through a door and tools were stolen.

    Auto Burglary

    Thursday at 10:10 a.m., police responded to an auto burglary in the 500 block of 54th Avenue. Entry was through a door and money was stolen.     

    Thursday at 9:48 a.m., police responded to an auto burglary in the 4900 block of Poplar Springs Drive. Entry was made through a door and miscellaneous items were stolen. A suspect was taken into custody in relation to this case.

    Thursday afternoon, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 1000 block of 29th Avenue.  Entry was made through a door and a radio was stolen.
