MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • DUI — Kevin H. Boles, 45, 820 Bragg Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Willie A. Burrage, 32, 2517 31st Ave., Meridian.

    • Receiving stolen property — Thomas A. Larson, 31, 4823 Causeyville Rd., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.   



    Residential Burglary

    Monday at 7:06 a.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 800 block of C Street. Upon arrival they were shown how entry was made through a door and a TV was stolen. This matter is still under investigation.

    Monday at 2:53 p.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 6200 block of Old Eighth Street Road. Police were shown how entry was made through a window and a TV was stolen.



    Stolen Vehicle

    At 12:43 p.m. Monday, police were alerted to a stolen vehicle from the 100 block of Highway 11-80. The owner said the vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. Police are searching for a 2009 Dodge Challenger, black in color and displaying a tag of YBI4EN. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of this vehicle, they are asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.



     Auto Burglary        

    Police responded to an auto burglary at 6:50 a.m. Monday in the 3400 block of Grandview Avenue. Entry was made through a window but nothing was stolen.

    Police responded to an auto burglary at 7:10 a.m. Monday in the 3100 block of 15th Avenue. Entry was made through a window and a wallet was stolen.

    Police responded to an auto burglary at 7:16 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of 34th Street. Entry was made through a door and money was stolen.

    Police responded to an auto burglary at 8:43 a.m. Monday in the 3200 block of 16th Avenue. Entry was made through a window but nothing was stolen.

    Police responded to an auto burglary at 3:11 p.m. Monday in the 3700 block of 11th Street. Entry was made through a window and a radio was stolen. If anyone has information on these cases, they are asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.   



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Simple assault — Melany A. Fitzgerad-Roach, 24, 5616 Fred Haguewood Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Landus M. Gowdy, 20, 185 Sunshine Rd., Daleville.

    • Petty larceny — Steven D. Kanagy, 41, 3454 Hwy. 80 E., Toomsuba.

    • Aggravated assault — Michael Wood Jr., 28, 10109 Morgan Rd., Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    Vandalism

    • 7200 block Windsor Rd., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Hillview Dr., Meridian.



Missisippi Highway Patrol



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



Fire runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  



    • False alarm, 11th St.

    • Vehicle fire, 34th Ave.                      



    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    

    • Vehicle fire, Kewanee Rd. (Toomsuba)

    • Structure fire, Carl Price Rd. (Toomsuba, Lauderdale, Russell)

    • Traffic accident, Lizelia Rd. (Northeast)

    • Assist other agency, Carl Price Rd. (Toomsuba)

    Metro Ambulance reported 39 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
