MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Possession of marijuana — Mardreekus D. Horn, 19, 1007 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public profanity — Ronald D. Long, 48, 4068 Old Homestead Road, Meridian.

    • Filing a false crime report — Shya S. Miles, born 1991, 11th Ave., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Joy Earl, born 1985, 11th Street, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Teasia Warren, born 1994, Highway 39 N., Meridian.

    • DUI — William A. Winkfield, born 1988, 30th Avenue, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Burglary

    • 1500 block 48th Avenue

    Auto burglary

    • 4600 block Broadmoor Drive

    • 900 block 27th Avenue

    • 1700 block Highway 19 N.

    • 400 block 11th Avenue

    • 2800 block St. Andrews Street

    • 2900 block 5th Street

    • 1700 block 2nd Street

    • 2700 block 45th Street

    Monday night a man reported to police he was the victim of an armed robbery that occurred in the 4500 block of Highway 39 / North 19. The incident occurred Sunday night according to authorities. The victim stated he was in his residence when a black man came in the door armed with a handgun and robbed him of his money and a TV.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Public drunk — Brittany L. Britain, 25, 3824 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Obtaining controlled substance by fraud — Laurie Castle-Tidwell, 45, 220 Church St., Quitman.

    • Probation violation — William I Clark Jr., 55, 8569 Wilsondale Road, Collinsville.

    • Failure to pay justice court — James H. Jackson, 64, 8700 Skipper Road, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Travis M. Portis, 39, 8121 Prisock Road, Lauderdale.

    • DUI — Diamond Reed, 20, 2957 Highway 11/80, Toomsuba.

    • Felony malicious mischief — Travis E. Sullivan Jr., 51, 1427 Long Creek Road, Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    Theft

    • 3800 block Vimville Causeyville Road, Meridian.

    • 9800 block Highway 495, Collinsville.

    Burglary

    • 4000 block West Mt. Carmel Road, Bailey.

    • 2600 block Highway 11/80, Toomsuba.

    DUI

    • Highway 11/80, Meridian.
