Law Enforcement Reports: 2-20-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Burglary (commercial building, cars, etc.) – Eddie James Davis Jr., 24, 510 Randolph St., Cuba.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Lori Renee Cochran, 38, 11004 Hughes Road, Bailey. Cochran also faces a charge for driving with a suspended license.

    • Felony DUI – Steven D. Johnson, 29, 750 Fannie Jack Road, DeKalb. Johnson also faces charges for driving without liability insurance and seat belt violation.

    • Mississippi Compulsory School Attendance Law – Lateasha Ann Martinez, 32, 2684 Highway 496, Lot 9, Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

        

Burglary

    • 6400 block of Causeyville B, Meridian.

    • 2900 block of Old Eighth Street Road, Meridian

Theft

    • 4500 block of West Carmel Road, Bailey

    • 3000 block of 28th Street, Meridian

Intoxicated driver

    • Highway 39, 33rd Street, Meridian

Marion Police Department

    Marion Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Domestic violence – Kenneth Bernard Fleming, 46, 6610 Stoud St., Marion.

Mississippi Department of Corrections

    The Mississippi Department of Corrections reported the following arrests between 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Probation violation/Parole – Katie Marie Clarke, 28, 12461 Newton County Martin Road, Collinsville.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs for Tuesday:  

    • Biological hazard, M Street

    • False alarm, Highway 45 North

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 11 & 80

    • Vehicle fire, 42nd Avenue

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 46 emergency runs Wednesday at 5 p.m.
