MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Shoplifting — Troy A. Nix, 30, 1169 Old Hwy. 80 W., Meridian.

    • DUI — Richard Lewis Jr., 34, 2361 35th Ave., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment — Donald R. Naylor, 63, 6112 32nd St., Meridian.

    • Petty larceny — Julius Morris, 21, 2318 15th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Tammy Drake, 44, 1604 35th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Edward C. Moss, 59, 3515 33rd St., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Fernando L. Sanchez, 31, homeless.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported no incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday

    • DUI — Allen M. Hopkins, 32, 3206 Hwy. 11/80 W., Toomsuba.

    • Probation violation — Tequan J. Neal, 19, 115 57th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Robert H. Richardson, 42, 7494 Dabbs Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Lauren E. Thrash, 18, 4972 Russell Topton Rd., Meridian.

    

    Incident Reports

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Burglary

    • 9500 block Hwy. 45 N., Lauderdale.

    Vandalism

    • 9200 block Lauderdale Toomsuba Rd., Meridian.

    Theft

    • 8200 block Russell Topton Rd., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Dabbs Rd., Meridian.

    • Hwy. 11/80 @ North Shore Rd., Meridian.

    • Hwy. 11/80, Toomsuba.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Sale of controlled substance — Catherine A. Joles, 44, 3613 Katherine Dr., Lauderdale.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.   

    • False alarm, 40th Ct.

    • Vehicle accident, North Hills St.

    • Vehicle accident, 8th St.

    The volunteer fire departments reported emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Traffic accident, Bolen Long Creek Rd. (Southeast)

    • Assist other agency, Hwy. 11 S. (South)

    • Gas leak, Hwy. 19 N. (Suqualena)

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 36 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
