MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Public drunk — Jeremy C. Avera, 28, 200 Kellington Dr., Kingwood, Texas.

    • Shoplifting — Tiana D. Young, 23, 514 Old Country Club Rd., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    Auto Burglary

    Monday at 12:52 p.m., police responded to an auto burglary in the 3300 block of 27th Street. Entry was through a door and a handgun was stolen.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Failure to pay child support — Timothy J. Allen, 41, 3707 Causeyville Rd., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay justice court — Lisa A. Spears-Price, 34, 4308 Hooper St., Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    Theft

    • 8300 block Pine Springs Rd., Meridian.

    • 12500 block Ball Diamond Rd., Collinsville.

    • 7100 block Jimmy Smith Rd., Bailey.



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  



    • Good intent call, 11th Ave.

    • Cooking fire, Willow Ridge Dr.

    • False alarm, Bonita Lakes Dr.

    • Person in distress, 38th Ave.

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Rekindle of structure fire, Hwy. 11 South/Sunset Rd. (Clarkdale, South)

    Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
