Law Enforcement Reports: 10-3-13

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Disturbance — Michael G. Payne, 37, 503 41th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Ronald L. Pearson, born 1946, Hattiesburg.

    • Assault — Stephanie Thomas, born 1977, 54th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Residential Burglary

    At 5:01 a.m., police responded to a residential burglary that occurred in the 4000 block of 36th Avenue. Entry was made through a door and a TV was stolen.     

    Commercial Burglary

    Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 800 block of 42nd Avenue. Entry was made through a door and a TV was stolen.    

    Tuesday morning, police responded to a commercial burglary in the 3800 block of 35th Avenue. Entry was made through a wall and tools stolen.     

    Police were informed of a commercial burglary that occurred in the 1600 block of Fourth Street early Monday morning. Entry was made through a window and a TV was stolen.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department         

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Probation violation — Travis L. Crider, 24, 8370 Cook Rd., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay justice court — Leon Maye, 50, 3122 Valley St., Meridian.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Frederick R. Scott, 37, 3802 9th St., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Vance D. Tripp, 40, 9273 Les Harwell Rd., Collinsville.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Burglary

    • 3600 block Pine Dr., Meridian.

    • 6400 block Brown Hooke Rd., Meridian.

    Theft

    • 1600 block Hwy. 19 S., Meridian.

    • 9200 block Lauderdale Toomsuba Rd., Meridian.

    Vandalism

    • 7600 block Espey Rd., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
