MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Possession of methamphetamine — Kevin T. Bishop, 32, 3181 Pleasant Grove Road, Little Rock, Ark.

    • DUI — Jasmin L. Gillies, 34, 519 B St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Fernando R. Phillips, 30, 2305 D St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Gary P. Stancil, 48, 8111 King Road, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Willie E. Starks, 31, 7100 Highway 80 W., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Renee Brewster, born 1989, 1318 19th St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Isaac Washington, born 1979, 2814 43rd Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — McKenzie B. Washington, born 1980, 1335 44th Ave., Meridian.

    • Interfering with police — Quanita A. Newell, born 1986, 2305 D St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.  

    Auto Burglary

    • 1:55 p.m., 4500 block of 35th Avenue

    Residential Burglary

    • 2:31 p.m., 1000 block of Bragg Avenue

    • 5:11 p.m., 2400 block of Old Marion Road

    • 9:24 p.m., 1200 block of 37th Avenue

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Grand larceny — Staci L. Robson, 42, Super Inn, Meridian.

    • Grand larceny — William J. Sanders, 27, Super Inn, Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Hattie M. Thompson, 35, 2454 Highway 496, Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Burglary

    • 7000 block Highway 145, Meridian.

    • 2200 block Russell Mt. Gilead Road, Meridian.

    • 9500 block Hillview Drive, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 5000 block Valley Road, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Fire runs

    

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.         

    • Vehicle accident, Causeyville Road

    • False alarm, 11th Street

    • Grass fire, I-20.

    • Outside rubbish fire, 45th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, 20th Street         

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Assist other agency, Highway 45 N. (Marion)

    • Vehicle fire, Highway 45 bypass (Long Creek)

    • EMS, Dogwood Lake Road (Northeast)

    • Traffic accident, Highway 19 N. (Collinsville)

    • EMS, Shelby Gressett Road (Toomsuba)

    • Traffic accident, Highway 19 N. (Suqualena)

Ambulance runs

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 34 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday.
