MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:

    • Shoplifting — Raymond N. Robinson, Year of Birth (YOB) 1985, 2825 Pendorff Road, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Eddie Gibbs, YOB 1965, 711 28th Ave., Meridian.

    • Malicious mischief / petit larceny / simple assault — Ashley Hill, YOB 1988, 3813 5th St., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Zinerica E. Newell, YOB 1992, 3009 Chandler St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault domestic — Billy R. Barrett, YOB 1962, 1712 16th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Kaporscha M. Stennis, YOB 1991, 1620 11th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Lorenzo Clayton, YOB 1991, 2821 19th St., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment — Brian Dixon, YOB 1982, 1001 34th Ave., Meridian.

    • Failure to vaccinate against rabies — Thedra Clay, YOB 1992, 5727 Valley St., Meridian.

Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:

    • At 9:08 a.m. Thursday Meridian Police responded to a burglary in the 600 block of 49th Avenue.

    • Meridian police responded to two separate reports of shots fired but when officers arrived they could find evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Detention Facility reported the following bookings between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:

    • Receiving stolen property, felony — David Kyle Alexander, 33, 6420 Highway 45 South Bypass, Meridian.

    • Identity theft — Angela Comans, 37, 1125 Church Ave. D, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence, reckless driving — Larry G. Fairchild, 47, 5510 B Fisher Road, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting, malicious mischief — James Austin Hawkins, 20, 10545 Cow Creek Road, Meridian.

    • DUI, 1st offense — Zachary Zamal Hopkins, 25, 1400 37th Ave., Meridian.

    • Bad check, felony — April Hubbard, 28, 1534 48th Ave.,, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence, felony — Omar Alexander Newell, 26, 3001 Davis St. 2, Meridian.

    • Failure to register as sex offender — Ras Jibri Roberts, 21, address unknown.

    • Shoplifting — Raymond Nevell Robinson, 28, 2825 Pendorff Road 8, Laurel.

    • Aggravated assault, credit card - intent to defraud — Rachel Maria Rowe, 30, 8636 Collinsville Road, Collinsville.

    • Domestic violence, petit larceny — Robert Ryan Stack, 45, 3392 Lauderdale Road, Lauderdale.
