Law Enforcement Reports: 2-14-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Possession of a controlled substance — Jonathan L. Bolden, 21, 319 Rubush Ave., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Henry L. Conner, 30, 29223 12th St., Meridian.

    • Burglary — Garyeon D. Timmons, 28, 3203 12th St., Meridian.

    • Petty larceny — Donald L. Willis, 32, 1121 37th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Shelia D. Allen, 31, 3801 Paulding St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Catherine Currie, 31, 1901 25th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Lakeisha V. Gale, 45, 1508 36th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.  

    Auto Burglary

    • At 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, a victim came to the police department to report an auto burglary that occurred in 100 block of 15th Place South. Entry was gained through a door.

    At 8:13 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 3300 block of 3rd Street. Officers arrived at 8:19 p.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.

    Residential Burglary

    At 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, a victim came to the police department to report a burglary that occurred in the 800 block of 29th Street. Entry was gained through a door.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday

    • Telephone harassment — Christopher B. Johnson, 32, 2201 42nd St., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Nicholas O. Powe, 39, 3720 44th St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Robert White, 41, 2941 Rob Sims Road, Meridian.

    • Sale of marijuana — Lanorris T. Williams, 32, 2148 13th Ave., Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    Burglary

    • 9000 block Barrett Road, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Fire runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.   

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 19 N.

    • False alarm, 35th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, I-20.            

    The volunteer fire departments reported no emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Ambulance runs

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 39 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday.
