Law Enforcement Reports: 2-8-14

MERIDIAN — The Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Aggravated assault — Errick R. Bell, 29, 2032 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Maurice Craig, 41, Banks Ln., Lisman, Ala.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.  

    Auto Burglary

    • At 5:17 p.m. Thursday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 200 block of 69th Avenue.

    • At 1:05 a.m. Friday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 6600 block of Highway 80 W.

    • At 1:05 a.m. Friday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 6600 block of Highway 80 W.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 8:59 a.m. Thursday, a victim came to the police department to report a burglary that occurred in the 2200 block of 34th Street.     

    • At 12:17 a.m. Friday, police responded to a burglary in the 53300 block of 8th Street Extension.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday

    • Trespassing — Lewis A. Donovan, 23, 3824 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Curtis E. Gully Jr., 22, 803 29th St., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Lashawn Stribling, 38, 7746 State Boulevard Ext., Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    Assault

    • 7700 block State Boulevard Extension, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Fire runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.   

    • Vehicle accident, 8th Street

    • Vehicle accident, Grandview Avenue           

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Trash fire, Rollins Drive (Lauderdale)

    • EMS, Aycock Road (Long Creek)

Ambulance runs

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 33 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.
