Law Enforcement Reports: 2-6-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Suleana A. Bufkin, 34, 223 Kennedy St., N.C.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Recardo J. Harris, 26, 1116 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Billy B. Reed Jr., 44, 1812 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Trespassing — Areis H. Josey, 42, Starkville.

    • Simple assault — Naomi R. Hatcher, 29, 4902 15th St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Christopher G. Hatcher, 31, 4902 15th St., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Quiante J. Blanks, 1801 29th St., Meridian.

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  

    Auto Burglary

    • At 7:01 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 2400 block of Old Marion Road.

    • At 8:08 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 1700 block of Highway 19 North.

    • At 9:01 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 1600 block of 65th Avenue.

    • At 9:29 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 1400 block of 65th Avenue.

    • At 10:13 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 1300 block of 65th Avenue.

    • At 11:14 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 1600 block of 65th Avenue.

    Residential Burglary

    • At 6:32 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a burglary in the 2400 block of 4th Avenue. Officers arrived on scene at 6:35 a.m. and determined that entry was gained through a window.

    • At 11:54 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a burglary in the 1000 block 25th Avenue. Officers arrived at 11:58 p.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday

    • Probation violation — Donald R. Leverett Jr., 31, 1888 Bunk Newell Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Janice D. Lindsay, 52, 328 Northwood Drive, Philadelphia.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Schane S. Roberts, 38, 1164 David Isher Road, DeKalb.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Robert T. Sellers, 21, 4825 East Crescent Drive, Meridian.
