MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

 

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

• Domestic violence — Vernisha L. Brooking, 19, 2304 46th Ave., Meridian.

• Indecent exposure — Jimmy L. Davis, 41, 4506 Valley St., Meridian.

• Simple assault — Antonio Owens, born 1994, 3010 11th St., Meridian.

• Telephone harassment — Olivia Myles, born 1978, 1721 Marion Russell Road, Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana — Paul Brown Jr., born 1995, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

 

Incident Reports

 

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

Auto Burglary

• At 5:32 a.m. Thursday, police responded to an auto burglary in the 200 block of 48th Avenue. Officers arrived at 5:44 a.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.

Residential Burglary

At 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a burglary in the 500 block of 46th Avenue. Officer arrived at 9:17 p.m. and determined that entry was made through a door.

• At 12:17 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 2500 block of Old Marion Road. Officers arrived at 12:18 a.m. and determined that entry was gained through a door.

 

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

 

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

• DUI — Lathien Watson, 35, 2101 MLK Drive, Meridian.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

DUI

• 18th St. / 26th Ave., Meridian.

Theft

• 9800 block Hwy. 495, Meridian.

• 2200 block Old Wire Road, Meridian.

 

Mississippi Highway Patrol

 

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

• DUI — Scott R. Allen, 44, 509 Salley White Road, Hodges, S.C.

 

Marion Police Department

 

The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

Fire Runs

 

The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

• Vehicle accident, 12th Street

• Grass fire, Poplar Springs Drive

 

The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

• Traffic accident, Zero Causeyville Road (Long Creek)

• Grass fire, Townsend Road (Martin)

• Grass fire, Poplar Springs Drive (Northeast)

• Grass fire, Centerhill Martin Road (Bailey)

 

Ambulance Runs

 

Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday.
