MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday:

    • Domestic violence-simple assault – Ravashawn Dixon, 24, 1905 14th Avenue, Meridian.

    • Contempt of court – Cody Earl Jimerson, 29, 4515 State Boulevard, Meridian. Jimerson is also charged with domestic violence-simple assault.

    • Burglary-commercial building, cars, etc.. – John Kenneth Stewart, 26, 10499 Pine Lake Road, Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Damion C. Lee, 30, 3800 A Place, Meridian.   

    • Disturbing the peace – Charbrecia Stevens, 19, 1902 Old Marion Road, Meridian.    

    • Shoplifting – Montoya D. Loundy, 30, 2107 15th Avenue, Meridian.    

    • Simple assault – Ava Sheffield, 26, 1318 19th Street, Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Tamela Boston, 23, 1521 49th Avenue, Meridian.  

    • Simple assault on a minor – China F. Hart, 22, 923 46th Avenue, Meridian.      

    • Resisting arrest – James E. Moore, 32, 9435 Hamrich Road, Meridian. Moore is also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.  

    • Shoplifting – Katrina L. Gaters, 23, 1617 1/2 12th Avenue, Meridian.    

    • Disorderly conduct – Lonnie W. Cole, 41, 1907 36th Avenue, Meridian. Cole is also charged with public profanity.

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Michael Solis, 27, 4590 South Professional Drive, Meridian.

    

Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 9 a.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday:

Robbery

    • 1800 block of 21st Street.

Auto Burglary

    • 3700 block of 19th Court.

    • 1900 block of 28th Avenue.  

    • 3700 block of Valley Street.

    • 2100 block of Highway 19 North.

Residential Burglary

    • 600 block of 33rd Avenue.

    • 2000 block of 21st Street.

    • 3300 block of 33rd Avenue.  

Shootings

    • 1700 block of 45th Avenue.  

    • Meridian Police Officers responded to 4 shots fired calls. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department    

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday:

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Stedman Martin Ashley, 24, 4830 Raymond Road, Jackson. Ashley is also charged with obstructing traffic and driving with a suspended license.   

    • Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement, 2 counts – Nathan Dewain Boutwell, 24, 5583 Gene Carr Road, Meridian. Boutwell is also charged with resisting arrest, possession of marijuana in vehicle, and possession of controlled substance.

    • Court order – Derrick G. Clark, 28, 5730 19th Avenue, Meridian.  

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Danny Earl Davis, 56, 290 Davis Road, Meridian. Davis is also charged with driving without headlights, switched tag/license plate, and suspended drivers license.      

    • Uttering forgery – Chika Emmanuel Eguziem Jr., 21, 2701 Winsley Drive, Meridian.      

    • Possession of methamphetamine – Jason Dewayne Gilbert, 36, 2371 Jeff Davis School Road, Meridian. Gilbert is also charged with driving under the influence (DUI), first offense, having no liability insurance, and violation of seat belt law.       • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Robert Harbour, 58, 140 Ollhoft Road Meridian. Harbour is also charged with disregard of a traffic device and careless driving.   

    • Possession of a controlled substance – Hanna S. Ivy, 21, 2599 Highway 18 East, Quitman.

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), second offense – Jacolbi Kion Jenkins, 22, 9329 Kewanee Road, Lauderdale. Jenkins is also charged with speeding (10 to 19 mph over limit).

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – John Hillard Johnson, 44, 830 El Johnson Road, Little Rock. Johnson is also charged with careless driving, violation of the seat belt law, driving with a suspended drivers license, and disregard of a traffic device.

    • Court order – Joshua Cecil Keith, 26, 6047 Causeyville Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to appear is Justice Court, 2 counts – Daryon Decarlos Matthew, 21, 1909 12th Avenue, Meridian.

    • Possession of Methamphetamine – Walter Jason May, 32, 3352 Lakeview Lane, Toomsuba.

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense –  Bennie M. McWhorter II, 32, 503 South Walnut Avenue, Demopolis, AL. McWhorter is also charged with careless driving and having no liability insurance.  

    • Court order – Octavius Tirrell Mitchell, 32, 4814 Valley Road, Meridian.     

    • Court order – Calvin Earl Pringle, 51, 1756 Lizzie Road, Meridian.       

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Stanley Gene Sanders, 40, 2217 Hillcrest Drive, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay Justice Court – Thurman Sorrells, 62, 4238 Pleasant Grove Road, Little Rock.

    • Telephone harassment – Terry Alan Terral, 49, 5269 Highway 19 Frontage Road, Meridian.  

    • Prohibition, deadly weapon or contraband in jail – David Lynn Thompson, 28, 10010 East Gulf Road, Bay St. Louis.
