Law Enforcement Reports: 6-14-14

MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday:

    • Telephone harassment – Greg Henderson, 33, 2201 43rd Avenue, Meridian.

    • Giving false information – Kabriesha K. Terrell, 24, 2015 Mosby Road, Meridian. Terrell also faces a charge of interfering with police officers.  

    • Simple assault-domestic – Michael D. Coleman, 31, 4617 13th Street, Meridian.   

    • Contempt of court – Sergio Gordon, 24, 1002 Bragg Avenue, Meridian.

    • Aggravated assault-domestic violence – Davion Marshaun Hardy, 31, 214 32nd Avenue C1, Meridian.       

    • Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement-2 counts – Jeremy Killens, 31, 821 25th Avenue, Meridian.  

    • Fugitive from justice – Timothy McCarver, 46, 243 Old Highway 56, Coalmont TN.  

    

    Incident Reports

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Thursday to Friday:

Auto Burglary

    • 7100 block of Highway 80 West.

    • 400 block of Lake Drive.

    • 1700 block of South 2nd Street.

    • 5200 block of Manning Street.

Residential Burglary

    • 4600 block of 13th Street.

    • 1100 block of 40th Court.

Shootings

    • Meridian police officers responded to 3 shots-fired calls; officers were unable to locate evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday:

    • Felony malicious mischief/vandalism – Travis Lavon Hoffer, 31, 3950 A Causeyville Whynot Road, Meridian.

    • False ID information – Tanya Rachelle Gilbert, 39, 137 County Road 1141, Shubuta.

    • Probation violation/parole – David Keith Moody, 28, 2413 B Street, Meridian.

    • Petit Larceny-up to $500 – Kimberly Jones-Nicholson, 32, 10170 County Road 361, Union.    

    • Burglary-commercial building, cars, etc.. – Gregory Vance Schlegel, 54, 11500 Road 571, Philadelphia.

    • Forgery-over $100 – Gary Preston Stancil, 49, 8111 Kings Road, Meridian.

    • Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense – Justin Lee Tran, 29, 2888 Conehatta Prospect Road, Conehatta. Tran is also charged with possession of controlled substance, suspended drivers license, expired tag and no liability insurance.

    • Arson – James William Wiggins, 50, 2326 Whitaker Road, Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday:

        

Intoxicated driver

    • Highway 145, Meridian

    • 5300 block of Mini Farm Road, Meridian.

    •

Theft

    • 6900 block of South Anderson Road, Meridian.
