MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9:30 a.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday:

    • Simple assault – Kaporscha M. Stennis, 21,1620 11th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 12:01 a.m. Monday and 11:59 p.m. Monday:

Auto Burglary

    • 3900 block of Davis Street; key left in vehicle. Vehicle recovered; two juveniles arrested.

Stolen Vehicle  

     • 1700 block of 16th Street, nighttime

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 9:30 a.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Monday:

    • Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer – Nicholas Dionte Divinity, 21, 19 Nelson CR, Jackson. Divinity is also charged with possession of marijuana, first offense.

    • Simple assault – Ronisha Louise Hopson 25, 146 Brown Road, Portereville.

    • Probation violation – Michael DeWayne McMillian, 35, 508 45th Ave., Meridian.

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Elvin Keon Wilson, 20, 4404 St.Thomas Road, Bolton. Wilson is also charged with careless driving.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 9:30 a.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Monday:

    Intoxicated Driver

    • 910 Highway 19 North, Meridian

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between Nov. 30 and Sunday:

    • Public service, 19th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, 49th Avenue

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs between Dec. 1 and Tuesday:

    • Motor vehicle accident (MVA), with injuries, Poplar Springs Drive(Northeast)

    • Emergency medical service (EMS), Causeyville Road (Long Creek)

    • EMS, Arundel Road (South)

    • EMS, Forrest Street (Marion)

    • EMS, Stinson Cemetery Road (Clarkdale)

    • EMS, Valley Road (South)

    • Accident, with injuries I-20, 165 (Toomsuba)

    • EMS, Alice Irby Road (Causeyville)

    • EMS, Highway 11 South (South)

    • EMS, Pine Springs Road (Bailey)

    • EMS, Gibson Road (Collinsville)

    • EMS, 383 Briarwood Road (Northeast/Marion & Bailey)

        

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 49 emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. Tuesday.
